The invoice shows today’s date by default. It then calculates the due date automatically based on the selected customer’s payment terms.

If no customer is selected, the due date remains blank — thanks to a clean IFERROR setup that prevents awkward “#N/A” errors.

You have full control over the invoice number field. Whether you use sequential numbers or custom codes like “May2024-ClientX,” it’s completely up to you.

There’s also a short text field where you can add a description, such as “Website design project” or “April 2024 services.”

🔹 Itemized Table for Products or Services

This is where you list your billable items:

It’s designed to look great and stay clean — rows that aren’t filled in remain blank and don’t clutter the design. There’s also built-in error handling, so you don’t get any distracting formula errors.

Need to apply a discount? Just enter the percentage — the subtotal adjusts instantly.

Charging VAT or sales tax? That’s covered too. You can change the rate as needed, and the total reflects the final amount due with taxes applied.

All formulas are editable, so if you use a different tax system, it’s easy to update.
